 Pavement Markings

1. Determine Areas to be Painted

2. Have owner or agent move all cars from premises to be painted.

3. Lay out and mark pavement per plans or diagram provided by owner or agent.

4. Paint traffic markings per new layout (or existing layout if repaint) using heavy duty maximum light reflective traffic paint.  Alkyd Promar base paint shall conform to Federal Spec DSC-9696. Set fast latex paint shall conform to Federal Spec TTP-1952B. Paint shall be applied at the rate of 100 to 110 square feet per gallon.  Lines to be 4 inches wide unless other wise noted on plans

5. Allow alkyd paint to cure approximately one-half hour before introducing traffic to the area.  Allow latex paint to cure for two hours before introducing traffic to the area.
