Blue Chip Pavement Maintenance

Job Description:  Service Manager / Sales Representative:  

Basic Purpose
Sales of the company's maintenance services in the Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati and Dayton Corridor. Develop leads with appropriate executives and managers to ensure fulfillment of sales goals.. Will report directly to the Account Manager. Compensation plan according to company schedule. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creates annual plan for sales and oversee reporting to achieve company revenue goals and meet corporate objectives:

 

  • Accurately forecasts monthly and annual estimate and revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all maintenance lines.
  • Attend all Weekly sales meetings
  • Maintain accurate weekly report of team open jobs schedule and sales journal
  • Direct job cost and commission report via Controller
  • All report accuracy responsibility of Service Manager.

Develops new business with Commercial Property and Industrial Facility Managers with specific focus on pavement maintenance services:

 

·         Generate leads by cold calling and referral requests.

·         Develop pavement maintenance business with customer base through sale of “Pavement Management” campaign.

·         Utilize Power Point and other presentation tools to drive customer decision making.

·         Measure, estimate, deliver quote and close pavement maintenance jobs.

·         Participate in job: scheduling, set up, management and customer satisfaction.

·         Works with superintendent, foremen, field employees, vendors, and subcontractors to schedule and coordinate completion of jobs.

·         Create and manage all change orders.

·         Approve all job related invoices for material, subcontractors etc.

·         Ensure timely invoicing and accurate job costing of jobs.

·         Snow removal sales.

·         Sweeping sales.

·         Input all activity into CRM program utilizing point system (Rainmaker) Seminar presentations.

·         Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.

·         Trade shows

·         Customer industry association as committee member (Apt. Assoc, BOMA, IFMA, CAI, IREM).

Collaborate, with Account Manager

 

·         Collaborate with Account manager on all marketing initiatives

·         Coordinate with Account Manager business development strategies

·         Introduce all customers to assigned Account Manager.

·         Direct all pave and patch services to Account Manager for estimating and closing.

·        Develop team environment with Account Manager and office personnel

Participate and promote all internal IT and Marketing initiatives.

·         Google Earth (aerial imagery)

·         Collaborate with all sales reps Seminars, trade shows etc.

 

 

 

Essential Education, Skills and Environment

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management. Typically requires one or more years of experience in product sales.

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Excellent knowledge of company's products, software, and selling skills. Effective planning skills with ability to coordinate a major portion of the company's field operations in the performance of executing jobs. Excellent time management, communications, decision making, human relations, presentation and organization skills. Professional appearance and presentation required.

 

Equipment and Applications

PCs and various software applications. Heavy telephone usage.

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

General office environment. Considerable stress may occur at times. Field work as related to sales duties on regular basis.  Considerable driving within market area.  Occasional travel required for Industry trade shows and sales opportunities, etc.

           Company Dress Code:  Business Casual.  Duties may change upon management descretion.
